The 6th FOODSEG Symposium "Safe Food for Europe – recent scientific and regulatory developments“ will take place in Vienna, Austria on 11th and 12th of May 2017.
The main aim of the Symposium is to offer a platform for personal meetings and discussions on future cooperations and common projects along the whole feed and food chain in order to secure food safety and quality for the consumers. Within the last five symposia in Germany, Romania, Serbia, Italy and Ireland more than 500 experts exchanged and discussed relevant topics along the feed and food chain and several cooperative projects have been launched.
The programme for the 6th symposium is based on a two-day event with talks by well-experienced scientists and decition-makers in the area of agriculture, feed, food, consumers - all along the feed and food chain. It further is a place to present selected EU Funded research projects in the area to discuss their research results and findings. Posters on EU funded research projects are welcome to be presented during the event.
